At BeamIt, we believe professional networking should be seamless and private. We have designed our application to collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to provide our proximity-based services.

        The "No-Account" Promise: We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address to use BeamIt. You remain anonymous to us.
    

1. Information We Collect

Because there is no sign-in process, we do not collect names, phone numbers, or email addresses. However, to provide our services, we process the following:

Device Identifiers: We utilize your device's unique ID (such as IDFV on iOS or Android ID) to distinguish your device from others. This is necessary to manage your "Pro" or "Free" subscription status and ensure your settings persist.
Proximity Data: BeamIt uses Bluetooth and location-based technologies to "Connect the Room." This data is used locally to find other users nearby and is not stored permanently on our servers as a history of your movements.
User-Generated Profile: Any information you add to your digital business card (e.g., job title, social links) is stored so it can be "beamed" to others. Since you do not sign in, this data is linked only to your device ID.

2. Subscription & Payment Data

We use your Device ID to control access to "Pro" features. Payments are handled entirely by the **Apple App Store** or **Google Play Store**. We do not see or store your credit card information, billing address, or real name.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for:

Facilitating the exchange of digital cards between nearby users.
Verifying your subscription status (Pro vs. Free).
Maintaining app performance and fixing bugs.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not have accounts, we cannot "delete an account" in the traditional sense. If you wish to remove your data, simply delete the app. Once the app is removed, the local linkage between your device and your profile data is severed.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use service providers such as RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. These services only receive your anonymous Device ID to verify your purchase status.
